The best and worst teams in the NBA's Eastern Conference got together in Indianapolis Thursday night and the Indiana Pacers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 101-96. The Bucks fell behind 30-15 after the first quarter and battled hard to make it a fight to the finish. Brandon Knight scored 23 and Khris Middleton added 22 for the Bucks (11-46). Roy Hibbert topped Indiana with 24 points. The Bucks failed again to win back to back games, something they haven't done all season. Milwaukee returns home to face Brooklyn Saturday night.
The Bucks have requested waivers on Caron Butler. The veteran guard, a Racine native, has appeared in only 34 games for the Bucks because of injuries. He was averaging 11 points a game.
