MADISON, Wis (WSAU-Wheelner News) A U-W Madison police captain was fired for taking thousands of photos and videos of unsuspecting women. Some of those victims are now being asked if they want to press charges against the man. He was terminated in March after 17 years on the university's police force.
The Wisconsin State Journal said the department began an internal investigation in January after getting a tip. The captain reportedly used police cameras to photograph women from under tables, and those walking on a sidewalk outside his office.
U-W Police Chief Sue Riseling also said he used a work computer to view pornography.
