NEW YORK (WTAQ) - The Green Bay Packers drafted a pair of new weapons for Aaron Rodgers to throw to.
The Packers drafted Fresno State wide receiver Davante Adams in the second round (53rd overall pick) and California tight end Richard Rodgers in the third round (98th overall pick).
Adams, a 6'1" standout for the Bulldogs, is the likely replacement of James Jones – who was lost to the Oakland Raiders in free agency this offseason.
The Packers also picked up Southern Miss defensive tackle Khyri Thorton in the third round (85th overall pick).
Pending last-minute trades, the Packers have five more picks in the draft Saturday.
