MENOMONIE, Wis. (WSAU) -- An Owen man will be charged with providing controlled substances to a UW Stout student that died from drugs and alcohol. 28-year-old David Thorne told Menomonie police he supplied oxycodone to 23-year-old Jesse Jensen. Jensen died January 22nd with the pill in her system, plus morphine, and she had a point-16 blood alcohol content. Thorne already has a charge of possessing amphetamines with intent to deliver from another incident and will appear in court Friday for that charge. Court dates have not been set for the new charges related to Jensen’s death.
