History did not repeat itself at the Kohl Center. A year ago, Purdue spoiled the senior night celebration but Wednesday night, the Wisconsin Badgers wouldn't let it happen again, beating the Boilermakers 76-70 for their 8th straight Big Ten victory, the most since their national championship season of 1941. Wisconsin quickly built a double digit lead, they were up 35-24 at the half and led by as many as 18. Frank Kaminsky led the way with 22 points, hitting four of five three point shots. Traevon Jackson added 14. Purdue challenged the Badgers down the stretch as Wisconsin misfired from the free throw line but a three point play by Sam Dekker extended the lead to 10 and the Badgers finished it off. Wisconsin improves to 25-5 overall, 12-5 in the conference and they'll finish the regular season at Nebraska Sunday night.
