(WNFL)- Alfredo Figaro will become the Brewers' long relief specialist after he was called up from Triple-"A" Nashville yesterday. His call-up was meant to provide a fresh arm, after the Brewers had used six relievers in Tuesday night's 16-inning marathon loss to Washington. Mike Fiers, who worked four innings in that game and took the loss, was sent back down to Nashville. He'll rejoin the Sounds' starting rotation, and will pitch Monday night against Memphis. Figaro, a right-hander, threw two scoreless innings in the eighth-and-ninth yesterday in Milwaukee's 9-2 home rout of the Nationals. Figaro started for a short time last season for Milwaukee. He went 2-1 at Nashville this year with an ERA of just over 5. This is Figaro's second call-up with Milwaukee in 2014. He gave up a game-deciding homer to San Diego's Chase Headley in the 12th inning on April 22nd.
