The WIAA Spring Baseball State Tournament opened Tuesday at Neuroscience Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute.  In Division 1 quarterfinal play, Janesville Park eliminated Bay Port 4-3.  The Pirates lead leads of 1-0 and 2-1 but Parker struck for three runs in the 6th to advance.  Bay Port finished the year 22-7.  Sun Prairie defeated Stevens Point 5-3, Wimot Union beat Middleton 2-1 and Kimberly routed Hartford 10-0 behind a three hit shutout from Brice Swick.    In the semifinals, Sun Prairie ousted Janesville Parker 8-7 while the Papermakers put on another strong showing, routing Wilmot Union 15-1.  Mason Schnese went four for five with a home run.  The championship game will be played Thursday night.   Semifinals in Divisions 2, 3 and 4 are schedule for Wednesday although morning rain could compromise the schedule.  Oconto is set to play Racine St. Catherine's in Division 3 at 1:00 PM and Green Bay Notre Dame takes on Jefferson in a Division 2 semifinal.  The other division title games will also be played Thursday.
