36 former Brewers returning for team's "Wall Of Honor"

(WNFL)- Thirty-six former Brewers are returning to Miller Park this afternoon, for the inaugural induction ceremony for the team's "Wall of Honor." The Wall recognizes long-time Brewers, as those who've made special accomplishments while wearing Milwaukee blue. Fifty-eight players, managers, and coaches qualify for the initial induction. The 36 players who are showing up today represent the largest gathering of Brewers' alumni in the team's 45-year history. Thirty-one players got together to see the team's final game at the old County Stadium in 2000. A private ceremony for the honorees is set for late afternoon. Fans can see the Wall-of-Honor beginning at 6:35 tonight on the north side of Miller Park. A number of honorees will be saluted to the crowd just before tonight's Milwaukee contest against Cincinnati.
