(WNFL)- Green Bay Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he lost eleven pounds during the off-season -- but it's not entirely true that yoga was the main reason. The 30-year-old Rodgers also credits a better diet, and a continued emphasis on working out. Rodgers is beginning his seventh season as the Packers' starter. He told separate Green Bay and Milwaukee newspaper interviews that he came into the current OTA practices weighing just under 220 pounds, after coming in at 230 last April. Rodgers says he's paying more attention to his health as age creeps in. He also vows to play smarter, in the wake of his broken collarbone from last November which kept him out for seven games until the regular season finale and the playoffs. Rodgers said one of the highlights of his career came after he was checked out in the locker room when he got hurt -- and the Lambeau crowd gave him a standing ovation when he returned to the field in street clothes.
