MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - A Delta Airlines Flight headed to New York City from Minneapolis had to make an unscheduled stop in Milwaukee Saturday morning.
The crew decided to divert the flight when the pilots detected what was called a smoky odor on board.
The 148 passengers were placed on another plane and went on the La Guardia International Airport Saturday afternoon.
A spokesperson for General Mitchell International Airport says the plane landed safely at about 11:15 a.m. The smoky odor was being checked out.
