GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Green Bay police say two people have been arrested and the search is on for a third suspect after a gathering at an east side apartment.
Authorities say they were called around 3:55 a.m. Tuesday to 637 Lime Kiln Road.
Police Lt. Jeff Brester says a fight started between two roommates and an unidentified male that spilled outside. The unknown male threw a brick at one of the roommates and struck him in the mouth.
That roommate picked up the brick and threw it back at the unknown male, but missed and ended up striking an 18-year-old female neighbor. She was standing nearby and not involved in the incident.
"This female's boyfriend and the male that initially started the disturbance then beat up the person who accidentally struck the female with the landscaping block," says Lt. Brester.
The unidentified male pistol whipped one of the roommates with his pellet gun, partially ripping off his ear.
Police have arrested the two roommates, 18-year-old Victor Amador and 17-year-old Warren Peters.
Authorities are seeking charges of disorderly conduct, probation violation and underage drinking against Amador. Peters is facing charges of substantial battery, disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer, and underage drinking.
Brester says both Amador and Peters are refusing to talk with investigators and won't identify the third male involved. The two are gang members, and Brester says they had a relationship with the third male, but police don't believe this to be a gang-related incident.
Meantime, the 18-year-old female victim has a fractured skull and is in critical condition. The roommate and another person were also hurt in the melee.
