(WNFL) - The longest winning streak in Wisconsin boys' high school basketball history ended last night, when Germantown lost at Brookfield Central 68-to-58. The Warhawks ended a 69-game winning streak, in which they won the last two Division-One state titles. Germantown had a three-point lead with 4:14 left, when Brookfield Central scored on five of its next six possessions to go in front for good. Lamonte Bearden, who will play his college ball at Buffalo, scored 24 points for Germantown. Vanderbilt recruit Riley LaChance had 23 points and three steals for Brookfield Central -- which was ranked third in Division-One by the A-P this week at 12-and-0. Top-ranked Germantown falls to 13-and-1.
