GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Officials are warning Wisconsinites to be ready for bitter cold temperatures in the forecast.
The National Weather Service says an arctic blast of cold air will drop the mercury below zero, with wind chills ranging from minus-35 to minus-50 degrees between Sunday and Tuesday.
State officials say the temperatures are cold enough to be life-threatening and are warning residents to stay indoors when possible.
With some schools already cancelling classes on Monday and possibly Tuesday, Governor Scott Walker is considering an order to close all public schools on Monday.
