OCONTO, WI (WTAQ) - One of the men charged with the murder of a Green Bay man in 1998 has learned his fate.
In Oconto County Court Thursday, a judge sentenced Peter Hanson to life in prison without parole for the murder of 19-year-old Chad McLean.
McLean disappeared from Abrams and his body was found in the Pensaukee River a month later.
New information last year in the cold case investigation led to the charges being filed against Hanson and Charles Mlados.
Mlados will stand trial in August.
