It's 19 and counting for the St. Norbert Green Knights mens basketball team. The Knights defeated Ripon on the road 78-62 to keep it's school record winning streak alive. Andrew Schwoerer led the way with 22 points and Brandon Gries added 21. Gries, a senior from Kiel, broke the school record for most made free throws in a career with 420. The victory also broke the Midwest Conference record for most wins in a conference season at 17. St. Norbert has yet to lose in conference play and they are now 21-1 overall. They'll wrap up the regular season at home Saturday against Illinois College before hosting the MWC Tournament at the Schuldes Sports Center next week.
The St. Norbert women maintained a share of first place by beating Ripon 56-42. Lana Tomashek was top scorer with 14 for the women (18-4, 15-2).
