MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The Mega Millions jackpot is above $100 million for the first time since mid-December.
Nobody won the top prize Tuesday night, so it goes up to $107 million for the next drawing on Friday. Only one player won the million-dollar second prize Tuesday night. That ticket was sold in California.
A breakdown of the Wisconsin winners was not immediately available. Tuesday night's numbers were 25, 44, 49, 60, and 73. The Mega Ball was nine, and the Megaplier was three.
Friday's jackpot is the highest since the second-largest prize in the U.S. lottery history was won on December 17th. That was when players in California and Georgia split a $648 million Mega Millions prize. Friday night's cash option is just under $60 million.
The Powerball jackpot is also a big one, at $215 million for Wednesday night.
