GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - One of the storylines headed into Thursday's preseason finale was which Packers quarterback would make their case to be Aaron Rodgers' backup.
That decision by the Packers top brass will be a difficult one as both Matt Flynn and Scott Tolzien each threw 2 touchdown passes in the team's 34-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Lambeau Field.
Flynn completed 7-of-15 passes for 102 yards, while Tolzien finished 12-of-18 for 139 yards. Both quarterbacks alternated quarters Thursday.
LaDarius Perkins led the Packers in rushing, with 45 yards on 8 carries. Wide receiver Myles White caught four passes for 36 yards and a TD.
On the defensive side of the ball, Jayrone Elliott had three tackles and registered his 5th sack of the preseason.
The Packers finished the preseason 3-1 and open the regular season in one week against the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks in Seattle.
