MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - Wisconsin's largest airport has gotten steadily busier since January.
Passenger traffic at Milwaukee's Mitchell International rose by 3.3 percent in July, compared to the same month a year ago. That's the 6th straight month of gains at Mitchell, where 611,000 people flew in and out last month.
For the year as a whole, Mitchell's total passenger traffic is up 2.7 percent from the first 7 months of 2013.
Milwaukee now offers non-stop flights to 36 cities around the U.S. 160 other destinations can be reached with only one connecting flight.
