GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - A solid night for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers as they defeat the Oakland Raiders 31-21 at Lambeau Field on Friday.
Rodgers threw two touchdown passes, finishing his night 9-of-20 for 139 yards. He played into the 2nd quarter.
Running back Eddie Lacy ran for a touchdown in the 1st quarter, and gained 63 yards on 6 carries.
Defensively, the Packers stepped it up after allowing a 40-yard TD run by Maurice Jones-Drew on the Raiders opening drive. Among the highlights was the first sack in green and gold by Julius Peppers.
The Packers return to action with the preseason finale at Lambeau Field next Thursday when they face the Kansas City Chiefs.
