(WNFL)- Brewers' fans will not be hearing TV broadcaster Bill Schroeder until next Tuesday, when the Crew hosts Toronto. Schroeder left the booth on Monday night when he right hand and arm flared up, following surgery last week on his right index finger. He was planning to return last night -- but after a discussion with team officials and doctors, it was decided that Schroeder would rest at home for a few days. Brewers' vice-president Tyler Barnes calls the move "an abundance of caution." Schroeder is in his 20th season as a Brewers' TV analyst. He was a catcher with the team in the 1980's.
