MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - Milwaukee city officials say work is being done on an “app” which would make finding a parking space downtown much less challenging.
The app would let people pay for parking on their phone. It would also alert them when their parking time is about to expire, so they don’t have to keep running down to put more money in, or eventually come down to find a ticket on the windshield.
It could also help if you can’t remember where you parked.
Milwaukee is accepting proposals from companies until August 28th, hoping to have the parking app available by the end of the year.
