HUDSON, WI (WTAQ) - Some women in Hudson are not happy about a local hospital's new policy to force mothers who've had cesarean section births to get the same surgery for their future children.
Starting August 31st, the Hudson Hospital says it will no longer let those mothers have vaginal births, saying it does not have enough staffers to monitor them properly.
KSTP-TV of Minneapolis-St. Paul reported on a small demonstration outside the hospital Monday.
Laura Nelson says the new policy is frustrating, and she plans to switch doctors over it. Her first child was born by "C"-section, and she's 8 months pregnant with her second baby.
