St. Louis continued it's mastery over the Milwaukee Brewers with a 6-1 victory at Miller Park Tuesday night. The Brewers have managed a grand total of six hits and one run in the two games so far. Shelby Miller quieted the Milwaukee bats Tuesday night, allowing all three hits and a run over six innings with seven strikeouts. Aramis Ramirez prevented the second straight shutout by launching a solo home run in the 4th inning. Marco Estrada (1-1) took the loss, giving up three runs. Mark Ellis just off the disabled list drove in a pair. Jim Henderson coughed up two solo home runs to Johnny Peralta and Matt Holliday in the ninth. After sweeping three straight opponents during the nine game winning streak, the Brewers (10-4) will try and avoid the broom sending Wily Peralta against Joe Kelly in the series and homestand finale Wednesday afternoon.
