(WNFL)- Milwaukee's top free-agent acquisition will make his Brewers' debut this afternoon. Right-hander Matt Garza will start for the Crew, when it plays the rubber game of its season-opening series against Atlanta at Miller Park. Both teams are 1-and-1, after the Brewers posted a 2-nothing shutout on Monday and then ended 22 scoreless innings against Atlanta in 5-2 loss last night. Garza went 10-and-6 last year with the Chicago Cubs and Texas, with a 3.82 ERA. He had a rough Spring Training until his final start. Opponents hit .403 against Garza in games that didn't count -- but he's known to show up in the games that do count. He went 6-and-1 a year ago in 11 starts for the Cubs before he was dealt to Texas. The Braves are going with veteran Aaron Harang today. He signed with Atlanta just over a week ago, to fill a gap on a team which has four starters on the disabled list. Harang went 5-and-12 a year ago with Seattle and the New York Mets, with a five-point-four-oh E-R-A.
