ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) - Two credit unions in northeast Wisconsin plan to merge this fall.
Capital Credit Union of Kimberly says it will merge with the Pioneer Credit Union of Ashwaubenon.
It would create one of the largest credit unions in the state, with a combined 90,000 members and $1.1 billion in assets.
The new institution would keep the Capital name. Officials said customers of both credit unions could start doing business at either one in October.
The two groups say they expect no employees to be laid off due to the merger.
