OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Oshkosh are looking for a group of people allegedly involved in a weekend fight.
Authorities say a 23-year-old Princeton man suffered multiple head and facial injuries during the fight early Saturday near High Avenue and Division Street.
Police say the man told them he and a friend were approached by another man while talking with a woman. Minutes later, the victim says he was struck with a metal pipe from behind.
The victim says a group of men knocked him to the ground. He was able to get up and run.
The victim describes the man with the pipe as black, about 20-24 years old, 6' tall, wearing a black hat, blues jeans and a white tank top.
There are no descriptions of the other men police say were involved in the attack.
