GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Around 200 students who will be attending Northeast Wisconsin Technical College next fall semester could have the option of living in new student housing adjacent to campus.
DeLeers Construction is proposing a privately run complex that would include 100 units, each with two beds, like dorm rooms.
Karen Smits Vice President of College Advancementsays the project is still in development but would include a study and exercise room as well as on-site parking.
The student housing project would be the first ever for NWTC.
Smits says the project could also help the tech college attract more international students.
The goal is to have make student housing available in time for the fall 2014 semester.
