16 seasons since the Milwaukee Bucks lost nine games in a row

(WNFL) - It's been almost 16 seasons since the Milwaukee Bucks lost nine games in a row.  The Bucks will try to avoid a repeat of that futility tonight, when they face the Detroit Pistons in Auburn Hills Michigan.  Bucks' coach Larry Drew has promised some lineup changes, after he cited a lack of effort in Milwaukee's 24-point home loss to Charlotte on Saturday night.  There's been a lot of talk about how the point guards for the Bucks and Pistons will match up, after Milwaukee traded Brandon Jennings this summer for Detroit guard Brandon Knight.  However, the so-called throw-in player in the trade has done some good things for the Bucks.  Second-year forward Khris Middleton scored 20 on Saturday night, outscoring all five starters combined who had just 18 against the Bobcats.  The Bucks have been riddled with injury problems, but they're getting healthier.  Center Larry Sanders and forward Carlos Delfino are the only Bucks out at the moment.  Milwaukee is 2-and-10, with the second-worst record in the N-B-A behind Utah which is 1-and-14.  Detroit comes in at 5-and-8.
