GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Wisconsin Public Service says electric rates will remain unchanged for 2014.
However, natural gas customer will see about a one percent increase, or about 65 cents a month.
Utility companies forecast rates a year in advance. In March, they submitted rate increase requests for 7.4 percent for electrical and 5.6 percent for natural gas.
WPS Kerry Spees says the change is a result of higher than anticipated sales and low inflation. The state Public Service Commission gave final approval Wednesday.
