MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Former Democratic Party spokesman Graeme Zielinski announced Friday he is leaving his party position.
Zielinski was demoted in March after he compared Republican Governor Scott Walker to Milwaukee serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer via Twitter.
During that time, Zielinski was clearly upset that Walker was not facing charges after a John Doe probe into his former Milwaukee County Executive office.
Zielinski says he is working on a writing project now.
He also said in a Facebook posting he has been dealing with a recent “health scare”.
Walker's campaign spokesperson Nicole Tieman also said Friday she was leaving her position.
