MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Justice say two men are facing charges for running a burglary ring that spanned a dozen counties.
So far, 37-year-old Daniel Frausto and 28-year-old Robert Miles have been charged in four counties.
The alleged incidents happened in the following counties: Brown, Calumet, Dane, Fond du Lac, Oconto, Oneida, Outagamie, Portage, Shawano, Waupaca, Waushara and Winnebago.
In 2012, the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department began an investigation into a series of residential and business burglaries throughout several years. The investigation uncovered an organized burglary ring. The crimes included several home invasions, false imprisonment and a shooting.
More charges are expected to be filed in other counties.
