WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) - The Adams man who claims he shot his girlfriend when he was startled in bed has entered a plea to homicide charges.
28-year-old Coleman Dybul entered a not guilty plea in Wood County court Monday. He’s charged with 1st degree reckless homicide for shooting 27-year-old Toni Voss of Adams to death in their bedroom March 2nd.
Several friends and family members of Voss and Dybul were in court as an Adams county investigator testified. Voss had gotten out of bed to get a glass of milk for her son. Dybul’s attorney Gary Kryshak then entered the not guilty plea for his client and immediately asked to substitute Circuit Judge Charles Pollex.
