OCONTO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - Last week, Green Bay police announced a break in a 15-year-old cold case with the filing of murder charges against a man who investigators say killed 19-year-old Chad McClean of Green Bay.
On Sunday, another man who allegedly helped with the homicide has also been arrested.
Oconto County jail officials tell FOX 11 58-year-old Charles Mlados has been booked on perjury charges.
On February 22, 1998, McLean disappeared following a trip to Oconto County with a friend. His body was then discovered a month later in an Abrams river.
Authorities filed homicide charges against 52-year-old Peter Hanson last week.
According to the criminal complaint, Mlados allegedly helped Hanson get rid of McLean's body.
Special prosecutor Vince Biskupic tells FOX 11 Mlados was arrested Friday. This after allegations he perjured himself during a John Doe hearing in the case last fall.
Both men are expected to appear in Oconto County Court this week.
