The Packers have re-signed linebacker Brad Jones. Terms of the deal haven't been disclosed. The former 7th round pick from Colorado was thrust into the starting lineup after injuires felled Desmond Bishop and then D.J. Smith. Jones filled in admirably alongside A.J. Hawk and became the Pack's only linebacker in the nickel package. His signing will create plenty of competition this summer with Bishop and Smith expected to return, Hawk has a newly restructured contract and the Packers also re-signed Robert Francois with the promise he'll have an opportunity to earn a starting job.
