MADISON, WI (WSAU) - The Republican challenger for State Superintendent has decided not to talk to certain reporters. Representative Don Pridemore’s campaign has blacklisted five members of the media they claim are biased.
An internal memo indicated there will be no callbacks or phone interviews for Mary Spicuzza of the Wisconsin State Journal, Patrick Marley and David Umhoefer from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Scott Bauer from the Associated Press, and Jack Craver from the Capital Times.
The March 21st. memo says if one of those reporters requests an interview, they would have to submit their questions in writing and the campaign will choose whether or not to answer them.
The Pridemore campaign did not say what prompted the action against the reporters.
