ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) - The owner of the now closed Diamond Store in Ashwaubenon has been acquitted of all 13 felony charges after a Friday following a week-long trial.
The Brown County District Attorney accused 43-year-old Tyler Kosmoski of giving a dozen people the run-around on an estimated $100,000 in jewelry they left with him to sell.
When the store closed in the summer of 2011, Kosmoski disappeared for about a week before being found by authorities.
The defense claimed the victims' jewelry could have been taken by venders and store staff who cleared the shelves when the store closed.
Prosecutors presented evidence that Kosmoski needed money for a lavish lifestyle.
