UNDATED (WSAU) - The Department of Natural Resources is encouraging deer hunters to take part in a live chat with the groups in charge of the 2014 deer hunt regulations.
Groups are busy taking the Deer Trustee report that was released earlier this year and working it into a series of action plans for the DNR. Report coordinator Eric Lobner says the live chats will be part of the public record, along with proposals from committees in the DNR. "People will be able to review the materials and provide us with feedback, and that feedback will be provided to those action team members."
The live chat is just part of a series of meetings that have been taking place over the last several months in Stevens Point. Lobner says the Trustee's report is already posted online where the Live Chat is taking place. "It will provide a great opportunity to provide feedback and ask additional questions about the recommendations."
The live chat starts today at noon.
