DRESSER, Wis. (WSAU) - A week ago, many in northwestern Wisconsin’s community of Centuria were frantically searching for a two-year-old missing boy. Today, they’re mourning his death.
Last night, Isaiah Theis’ visitation was expected to bring hundreds of people from surrounding communities, so it was held at a larger venue... Trollhaugen Ski Resort in nearby Dresser, Wisconsin. Today, Theis’ funeral starts at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Alliance Church of the Valley in St. Croix Falls. He will be buried at a private graveside service afterwards.
Isaiah Theis was located last Wednesday in the trunk of a car that was next to his father’s repair shop. The toddler had the car keys with him. The medical examiner believes Theis died of hyperthermia at around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night, shortly after he went missing in extremely hot weather.
