PRESCOTT, WI (WTAQ) - Authorities in far western Wisconsin said an 18-year-old man punched a pregnant woman several times in the stomach, to try-and-kill the unborn baby they conceived.
Prescott Police arrested the man on possible charges of first-degree intentional homicide of an unborn child, and domestic battery.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night. Charges were still pending.
Prescott Police said the 27-year-old woman was staying at a motel with the suspect – and they got into a domestic argument before he punched her and tried to end her pregnancy.
