It's just not fair. The Green Bay Phoenix women continue to run roughshod over Horizon League opposition, dominating Wright State in Dayton Monday night 70-48. The game, as so many are, was over by halftime. The Phoenix did not allow the home team to score a basket until 5:34 remained in the half taking a 49-14 lead to intermission. The Raiders shot just 2 for 26 from the floor in the first twenty minutes. Breannah Ranger led four players in double figures with 14 points to go along with 8 rebounds. Stephanie Sension and Adrian Ritchie scored 13 while Lydia Bauer added 11. Horizon League pre-season player of the year Kim Demmings of Wright State was held to six points after a career low three in the first meeting at the Kress Events Center, shooting 2 for 20 from the floor in both games. The victory was Green Bay's 11th straight, improving their record to 16-2 overall and a perfect 6-0 in conference play. Since the Horizon League was formed in the 2000-2001 season, Green Bay has captured outright or shared the conference championship every year. The school's all-time Horizon League record now stands at 180-13, a 93.2 percent success rate, it's almost not fair.
