MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The Powerball jackpot is at $100 million for the first time since November 28th.
Nobody won the top prize Wednesday night. Almost 9,700 Wisconsin players won smaller prizes.
$200 was the most anybody won from the Badger State. Twelve tickets got that prize by having the Power Play option, and matching either 4 regular numbers or three-plus-the-Powerball.
Wednesday night’s numbers were 9, 21, 28, 32, and 51. The Powerball was 35.
The current jackpot has not been this high since players in Arizona and Missouri split a Powerball-record $587.5 million dollars in late November.
Since then, the jackpot was hit on four Wednesdays in a row – and each was good for $50 million.
Saturday’s cash option is $63.5 million dollars for a single winner who takes the whole prize now instead of in yearly installments.
In Mega Millions, the top prize is at $70 million for Friday night.
