GREEN LAKE, WI (WTAQ) - A funeral director in Green Lake County will stand trial on charges she was dealing heroin.
On Wednesday, 25-year-old Melissa Wachholz waived her right to a preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea.
Wachholz was arrested back in May following a disturbance outside Wachholz Funeral Home in Markesan. Police say they found heroin and paraphernalia in her car and more paraphernalia in her house.
Authorities say Wachholz confessed to making daily trips to Milwaukee to buy more heroin, then selling it from her driveway.
Investigators say the funeral home was not affected by the arrest.
If convicted, Wachholz faces up to 20 years in prison. A trial date has not been set.
