The Milwaukee Brewers dropped to 1-5 in Cactus League play Wednesday, falling to the Kansas City Royals 3-2 in Surprise, Arizona. Chris Narveson made his first start for the Brewers since last April 15, right before season ending shoulder surgery. He was on a strict pitch count, delivering 30 pitches, giving up a run on two hits in an inning and a third. The offensive star for the Brewers was young outfielder Logan Schafer who went three for three with an RBI.
