The Green Bay Phoenix have finally figured out how to win on the road. After losing 8 straight road games to begin the season, the Phoenix have now reeled off three straight victories away from the Resch Center, turning aside Youngstown State in Ohio Sunday 71-54. Green Bay defeated Cleveland State on the road on Friday night. Kiefer Sykes scored 19 of his game high 24 points in the second half against the Penguins with Alec Brown chipping in 16. Green Bay is now 15-12 on the season and 9-5 in the Horizon League, good for sole posession of third place. If they can hold that position, they'll get a bye into the quarterfinals of the conference tournament. The top two finishers receive double byes into the semifinals. Next up for the Phoenix is their bracket buster game at Drake on Saturday night.
