ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) - Ashwaubenon could be getting a new development near Bay Park Square Mall.

The national retail chain Gordmans is looking to build a store close to the intersection of Holmgren Way and Cormier Road.

Gordmans, based in Omaha, Nebraska, has five stores in Wisconsin, including two in the Appleton area.

Village President Mike Aubinger tells FOX 11 this project has been in the works for a couple of years.

With the village plan commission's approval of the 50,000 square foot facility, the village board is expected to make a final decision Tuesday.
