BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ) - The Brown County Sheriff's Department has identified the victim in a January 27 crash in the village of Bellevue.
Authorities say 26-year-old Andrew Steiner of Howard and another person witnessed a two-vehicle crash on Highway 172 near the Lime Kiln Road overpass just after 12 a.m.
Both men stopped to check of the victims inside an SUV. That's when a third vehicel, a minivan, crashed into the SUV, launching the two off the overpass.
They landed in the ditch. Steiner suffered severe injuries, and the other suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Two people in the SUV and a passenger in the minivan suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Two other people involved in the initial crash were not hurt.
