(WNFL) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have acquired Arizona Diamondbacks left- hander Tyler Skaggs and Chicago White Sox southpaw Hector Santiago in a three-team trade. The Angels sent power-hitting first baseman Mark Trumbo to Arizona, while the White Sox received outfielder Adam Eaton from the Diamondbacks. Arizona also acquired a pair of prospects, one each from the Angels and White Sox, in the deal.

The Colorado Rockies have acquired pitcher Brett Anderson and cash considerations from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for pitchers Drew Pomeranz and Chris Jensen. A second-round pick of the A's in 2006, Anderson has appeared in 84 games with 73 starts over five seasons in Oakland, compiling a 26-29 record with a 3.81 earned run average. The 25-year-old left- hander had Tommy John surgery in July of 2011, but bounced back to go 4-2 with a 2.57 ERA in six starts in 2012. Anderson sustained a stress fracture in his foot last season and was limited to 16 games (five starts). He went 1-4 with a 6.04 ERA and three saves. Pomeranz, originally selected by Cleveland with the fifth overall selection of the 2010 MLB Draft, started 22 games for the Rockies in 2012 and went 2-9 with a 4.93 ERA. He was limited to just eight games (four starts) in the majors in 2013, going 0-4 with a 6.23 ERA.       The Detroit Tigers have reportedly agreed to a contract with outfielder Rajai Davis worth $10 million over two years. Davis hit .260 with six homers and 24 RBI in 108 games with the Toronto Blue Jays last season. He stole 45 bases, marking the fourth time in the last five years he has surpassed 40 steals. Davis is a career .268 hitter with 268 stolen bases, 27 homers, 25 triples, 224 RBI and 351 runs scored over eight seasons.
