GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - A man charged for his role in a Bellevue home invasion and armed robbery waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday and will stand trial.
An arraignment date is not yet available for David Vega.
Authorities say Vega and Luis Ortiz forced their way into a home on Van Lake Court. Police say the two men bound a couple with plastic ties, and poured water over their heads, demanding money. The suspects also allegedly pistol-whipped the couple, and threatened to shoot them. They then allegedly stole the couple's car.
In court Tuesday, Vega's bond was reduced to $10,000 cash, from $50,000.
A warrant has been issued for Ortiz's arrest.
