Vikings Edge Bears In OT

(WNFL) -  Minnesota kicker Blair Walsh nailed a game-winning 34-yard field goal with 1:47 left in overtime to lift the Vikings to a 23-20 win over the Bears at the Metrodome.  Walsh, who missed a 57-yarder earlier in O-T, also made a game-tying 30-yard field goal with 24 seconds left in regulation to force the extra session.  Adrian Peterson ran for a season-high 211 yards, while Matt Cassel finished 20-of-33 for 243 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Vikings, who improved to 3-8-and-1.  Cassell replaced the injured Christian Ponder.  Chicago quarterback Josh McCown was 23-of-36 for 355 yards and two touchdowns to Alshon Jeffery, who ended with 12 catches for a career-high 249 yards.  Matt Forte had 23 carries for 120 yards in the setback.  Chicago fell to 6-and-6.  Robbie Gould missed a potential game-winning field goal attempt in overtime.  Minnesota visits Baltimore this Sunday.
