Khris Davis hits two homers in Brewers 6-4 win over Reds

CINCINNATI, OH (WTAQ) - Rookie left fielder Khris Davis hit a pair of two-run homers to lift the Milwaukee Brewers past the Cincinnati Reds Friday night, 6-4.

Davis was called up after Ryan Braun’s season-ending suspension and says he’s just “having fun with it”. Seems to be a working strategy… hitting a two-run home run in the 6th and 8th innings.

Starting pitcher Yovani Gallardo threw 6 innings, allowing 3 runs (two earned) and striking out 5. He allowed a two-run homer in the 4th, before Rob Wooten stepped in.

Rest of the bench helped secure Wooten’s second win of the season.
